Despite the sweltering heat, it was pumpkin time! We joined our friends on a trip to “Pumpkinville” in Leesburg, VA. The farm was huge with a petting zoo and slides to boot.

I’m sure having two dogs prepared Connor for all the animals because he was fearless! We saw all sorts of animals; sheep, cows, chickens, pigs, goats, camels even tigers and Connor wanted to pet them all (we overruled his desire to pet the tigers). He chased the chickens and fed the sheep till the cows came home. It was a perfect day and Connor definitely got to express his inner farm-boy.

We will visit a pumpkin patch later in the month when the temperature drops to get some classic photos of Mr. Connor picking out his favorite pumpkin.
